Amy, my favorite type of tea has to be black tea, hands down.

I've recently started drinking Mighty Leaf tea (www.mightyleaf.com). It's a bit pricey but so far I've loved every single variety (especially orange dulce).

For day to day tea I drink Red Rose brand. And I'm not a huge fan of herbals, except for chamomile. I have to be in the mood for any other "flavor".

As for hot chocolate, I usually just use Nestle or Ghirardelli powder. Like you said, I have yet to find a good, homemade hot chocolate recipe that isn't too bitter (or too rich for day to day consumption).

I'll stop rambling now. I just got so excited over my first comment!

What are your favorite types of tea? I am looking for new ones. I have been hesitant to try herbal tea since I heard it taste gross, but the flavors of herbal tea sound so good. Especially the dessert ones.

Also, on jenna's blog you mention you liked hot chocolate as your favorite snack. How do you make it? I tried with cocoa powder but it so bitter that I had to add way too much sugar to it.
